1) New Uses of the Ablative Case: a) Degree of Difference -multo, paulo, aliquanto, tribus ante diebus. b) Ablative of Comparison. c) Ablative objective of utor, uti, usus sum
2) Degrees of Adjectives, both regular and irregular (see hand out). Know the paradigm of the comparative adjectives, such as gravior, gravius. Be able to decline the following noun-adjective combinations: ille fortior rex, hoc pulchrius corpus, ea maior tempestas, istud acutius cornu, haec melior manus, ea gravior res.
3) Degrees of Adverbs, both regular and irregular (see hand out), especially: magnopere, magis, maximē
4) Deponent Verbs. Know 6 things about them, including participles and imperatives. See handout. Know meaning and principal parts of all deponents in the handout. Also verb game. Do not forget semi-deponets.
5) Review all associated vocabulary, especially list of deponents on handout.
6) Review verbal morphology of all conjugations and irregular verbs: eo, ferro, fio, malo, volo, nolo, sum, possum. See wheelock appendix.
7) Six uses and means of "quam". See my handout.
8) Partitive genitive after "plus" for quantity: O magni di, date nobis plus nivis (nix, nivis = snow)
